Oregon Worker Relief Fund

During the Covid-19 pandemic, I created the visual identity for the Oregon Worker Relief Fund, which raised more than $60 million for immigrant Oregonians during the pandemic. The OWRF was created by more than 100 Oregon nonprofits and community partners to help immigrant Oregonians who lost their jobs, but were ineligible for unemployment insurance and the federal stimulus because of their immigration status. The illustrations and logo were used to promote the fund to the public – seeking donations and also to inform immigrant Oregonians on how the OWRF could help them – and to the agencies who’d pour millions into it. The first four illustrations (the father farmworker and child, the mother and child, the landscaper, the construction worker – continue to be regularly used by immigrants rights organizations in Oregon to advance their mission.
